A New Feature for GT Series Communicators
We’re excited to introduce a new feature for the GT Series communicators (GT, GT+, and GET): the ability to remotely change user codes via the Protegus 2 app.
This functionality is compatible with:
- DSC panels (1616, 1832, 1864 series) via Serial connection.
- Paradox panels (SP, MG, SP+, MG+) via Keybus + TIP/RING connection.
Important to note:
This feature allows you to input new user codes but does not support reading existing codes.
This long-requested feature is designed to make user access management more flexible and efficient for both installers and end-users. Whether you’re managing security remotely or configuring systems on-site, this functionality streamlines your workflow.

What a splendid day for a feature update! Remotely changing codes is about as welcome as sunshine in Lithuania, I imagine. Finally, I dont have to remember *another* set of codes for *another* system, though I suspect my brain will just invent its own new code: QuestionMark. Still, efficiency for installers and end-users is the name of the game. Now, if only the Protegus 2 app could remind me where I left my keys… or my sanity. Thanks for making access management just a tiny bit less chaotic, TRIKDIS!
